COVID vaccine clinic Team Leader Position

We are pleased to announce we are recruiting for a team leader in our COVID Respiratory/Vaccination clinic.

This has the potential to be filled by someone Clinical or Non-Clinical we will look at the merit of all candidates before a decision is made.

Hours to be determined based on the chosen candidate.

Job Summary

The scope of the position is for the duration of the vaccination roll out this may include coordination of influenza vaccine delivery, respiratory clinic as well as COVID vaccines. 

Key Responsibilities

Doctor Liaison

  • Induction/ Education
  • Rostering

 Clinical Administration

  • Recruitment
  • Staff Induction
  • Performance management
  • Supervision Non-Clinical staff
  • Rostering / Shift cover within clinic budget
  • Incident investigation and reporting
  • Ordering – Vaccines / Consumables

 Compliance

  • ASPEN
  • APHRA
  • Department of Health
  • RACGP/ACRRM
  • Policy and Procedures pertaining to the clinic
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Infection Control – see appendix 1
  • Cold Chain Management
  • Clinical Research /Updates pertaining to the vaccination clinic

 Training

  • Review Training Requirements
  • Induction Program
  • Ongoing Training and Development
  • Monthly Team Meeting Coordination
  • Weekly update with Management

Professional Skills

  • Communication
  • Evidence Based Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Legislation
  • Practice within Professional and Ethical Framework
  • Work within scope of Practice
  • COVID Vaccination training
  • Understanding of all applications used in the Halls Head Respiratory clinic e.g. Booking app
